Yum, the idea of a frozen cordial glass dipped in melted chocolate with port sounds delicious. I enjoy a tawny port and suggest -- Warre's Optima 10. I don't think the chocolate idea works for a tawny but I will try it with a ruby port. Thanks for the idea!

Hi Tim,

Thanks for passing this information along.

I am familiar with the Fiore family winery in Maryland by having the opportunity to sample their wines during East Coast wine conferences. They make outstanding grape and fruit wines!

Cheers!

Hi Steve,

I believe the 2007 Seghesio Zinfandel mentioned above is available at Smith's Liquor or Canyon Lake Liquor. Also, your local liquor store should be able to order other Seghesio wines from Sodak Distributing for you if they do not have any in stock.

Cheers!

Sandi,

Do you know if there is a local wine retailer that carries any of the Seghesio family wines? I'm a cabarnet guy so the aglianico wine sounds intriguing. Thanks for the information.

Hi Michelle,

Thanks so much for this recent blog and the one under "Holiday Beverage"! I will start a new post in-so-that people can post specific information about the South Dakota wineries for which they are interested in or the winery can post information there as well!

Cheers!
