Last time I posted I asked for you to tell me about your style of scrapbooking and your favorite lines of product. I didn’t have much luck with that. No comments or feedback what so ever. So this time I’ll show you a little of my style and tell you about a couple of new products out there and maybe it will entice you to tell me about your style and your favorites.
I did these two layouts this week, both quick and simple. Sometimes I spend hours on a layout and sometimes they come together in a matter of minutes. Both have KI Memories Lace Cardstock. Love this stuff…adds depth and beauty. Just stick it down with a couple of glue dots or with a couple of brads. You can cut it up or use the whole piece.Â
My other favorite new product is a Fancy Pants…Glitter Cuts. Wonderful glittery transparencies that enhance your photos and layouts super fast with fantastic results. I used the Glitter Cut on the layout with my daughter and her cat, Calamity.
I also love, love, love the tickets on the angel layout above. They are from Tim Holtz’s new Idea-ology line. Great line of products that fun, easy to use, and fit everyone’s style. These tickets were perfect for the angel layout…they said it all for me, along with the photo. Please share your style and favorites with me this week! I would love to hear about your scrapbooking and your favorite tools and lines of product! Have a creative week and make sure you take time to PLAY!!!!!!!!

I made this pinwheel wreath from some great new paper by Imaginisce, It’s a Shore Thing!! It’s a great line of embossed and glittered, double sided papers with darling summer images. The cutest little penquins dressed in summer attire, along with popsicles, flowers and flipflops. If you would like directions on how to make it, just leave a comment on the blog, and I’ll respond to you with the directions. It’s super cute and super easy to do!!
So super cute leads us to this discussion…I want to know what your scrapbooking and card making styles are. I have found myself doing tons of super cutesy things this summer for cards and papercrafting. Not my style at all, far from it.Â
I am into distressed and vintage as far as cardmaking goes…and my layouts usually contain one or two photos, usually no title (I let the pictures speak for themselves.) I like to work with 5×7, 6×6, 4×8, and other unusual size photos. Sometimes they’re really simple and sometimes really detailed with stitching, stamping for depth and texture, fibers and other embellishments. But what I want to know is what’s your style?!! Do you use lots of photos?? Do you journal??? Do you title your pages?!?! Are you into cute or classy? Do you do heritage scrapbooking??? Do you consider your pages a work of art?? Let me know, leave me a comment on the blog…tell about your scrapbooking and your favorites lines of product!!Â
