Best of the Day: In the field
Tuesday, May 12th, 2009Photo editor Ryan Soderlin hit a multimedia homerun in Tuesday’s edition. Not only did he shoot the photos for the print package, he also shot video and put together an online slideshow, the latter which is my pick for the best of the day.
Of course, Soderlin knows his cattle. Growing up in rural Newell, his images — combined with another grown up ranch kid’s words with Jomay Steen’s story — capture the essence of life on the range.
Well, at least in this (Rapid) city slicker’s view.
