Last night we ate at the Hamilton Grille for the first time. We decided to try it out in response to Barbara’s recent article in the journal and we were very impressed!
It was wonderful! The ambiance was delightful, even though there was not a candle on the table. It was completely full, but there was no waiting. The servers were very caring and attentive.
The Columbia Riesling was delectable at only $5.00 a glass. It was not on the menu, but the server assured me they have it on hand regularly. My husband had the meatloaf, and it was the best meatloaf we have ever tasted. He said it didn’t even qualify as meatloaf. It tasted more like steak. The edges were a little seared, and the center was cooked just perfectly, the meat had the flavor of steak and the mushroom gravy was delectable. We wanted to try the asparagus, because the article mentioned how great it was, but by the time we ordered they were completely out! I had the cilantro lime chicken….it was melt in your mouth perfection.
With drinks and dinner, our final bill…..$43.00. Wow! We will definitely return again and again. It is so wonderful to find a family owned restaurant that is best in class.
Consumer, I’m so glad you liked it! But I can’t take credit for the article. Our food reporter, Jomay Steen, deserves the credit. The article is here

and there were some recipes that went along with it too.

HELP!!!! Does anyone know where I can get 6 volt replacement Christmas lights? I really need yellow/amber but will also eventually need other colors. I could make do with multicolored replacements. I triied Menards, Hobby Lobby, Hardware Hank and found 2.5 volt…
Anyone have any suggestions?
