Hookah Lounge seeks alcohol license

I noticed the Ifrits Hookah Lounge (725 St. Joe), which is under new ownership, has requested an alcohol license (not sure yet what kind). I went there once and it was pretty empty… it did seem that if it were a bar as well it would be more popular. It’s an awesome space and I think people would hang out there if they could have a drink, too. I’ll be talking to the new owners later this week and I’ll let you know what their plans are.
