Kenny,

Thank you very much. I love covering baseball and Rapid City is a great town to write about it. As you correctly stated, there were definitely a few times it got very sensitive, even today. But hey, that's my job. I just wanted to thank you and everyone else for reading the blog and my stories. I can't wait for next season already. See you at the ball park.

I would like to thank you for the job you did this summer reporting on the Legion teams in our area. You did an outstanding job and you should be proud. You have tackled a very sensitive topic with grace and tact. Again, great job and thanks for the stories. See you next summer.

I cannot wait to get to this tournament. 22 vs. West is going to be a great game. Brookings has a 6'7" pitcher that will try to tame the big hitters in the 320 line up. Spearfish is always a little slippery and goes under the radar of alot of teams, especially those teams that haven't faced them. I know West River will be represented well this year. Good luck to all the players from all the teams, enjoy the experience.

320 has really started playing good ball as of late. It seems like they should be able to get through the regional tournament. But I remember two years ago in Sturgis when a favored 320 team lost to Sturgis and didn't compete at the State Tournament. Upsets can happen, especially in baseball. Sturgis played so well at the beginning of the season I was suprised to see such a lopsided win-loss record. If any coach can get a team ready for regionals it's Jason. Good luck to all the teams participating the regions.

Jake, The only reason the players numbers look so good on this post is because you are post 22 alum and are partial to post 22. Why dont you show how many innings post 22 has lost this year and how many balls their pitchers have thrown??? Stop being partial to 22 by reporting such good numbers! :) Some things never change huh brother!!
